How two Weimaraners and a family dinner table gave birth to Pawganic PT.
Pawganic PT began the way all the best ideas do: around the family table, with our dogs (Walter and Willow) waiting patiently for a taste of dinner. We wanted the very best food for them, but every bag of dog food we bought felt like a compromise – too processed, too artificial, and too far from real food. So, we decided to make our own.
Our family have had Weimaraners for over 20 years, both short-haired and long-haired. Anyone who knows Weimaraners knows they can be incredibly fussy, but at times will eat anything, and ours were no exception. But this would lead to bad stomach outcomes.
That challenge led us to start cooking wholesome, homemade meals that our dogs actually loved and gave them stable stomachs. Over time, it became clear that other families were looking for the same thing – real, natural, gourmet food made with care – healthy and not putting on weight.
Each Pawganic PT recipe begins with the same honest ingredients we use at home: rolled oats, minced chicken and beef, spinach, green beans, peas, pumpkin, sweet potato, and carrots. Every batch is prepared in small quantities to preserve freshness and flavour, with no artificial colours, fillers or preservatives.
We also know that every dog is unique. If your fur baby has allergies or sensitivities, we can adjust the recipe.
